A beautiful young businesswoman died in a head-on smash when her motorbike slammed into a roadside pole on a Brazilian motorway.
Bruna Beatriz Veit, 26, was killed when her Honda Biz scooter hit the utility pole on the BR-101 highway in Balneario Camboriu, Santa Catarina state.
The incident took place at around 6am on Saturday, 23rd July.
Bruna was a beautician and the owner of a beauty clinic in Balneario Camboriu.
Her professional Instagram page had more than 7,000 followers at the time of writing.
A post on the page on Sunday read: “We communicate with great regret the death of Bruna Beatriz Veit, which took place on 23/07/22.
“As everyone knows, Bruna was an admirable person who will surely leave a big void in the hearts of everyone who had the honour and pleasure of meeting her.
“Our sincerest condolences to all customers and friends. Team Bruna Veit.”
One of those to mourn the young woman’s death was MMA fighter Saimon Oliveira, who commented on the post: “What sad news. We will all miss her very much.”
Bruna had studied at the University of Vale do Itajai from 2013 to 2017, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Cosmetology and Beauty Therapy.
Her funeral was held in nearby Itajai over the weekend.
It is not clear if the police will investigate her death.
