The biker passes by the cops and then accelerates even more as he decides to put as much distance between himself and traffic cops as possible, and then shared the footage with his Instagram followers.

The biker identified by his social media handle Skair uploaded the footage of him flying down the motorway at 301 kph (187 mph) on 9th August with the caption: “I swear I didn’t see you [traffic police], and I hope you didn’t see me either. I want to send my regards to all the law enforcement officers!”

Motorcyclist Sakir Duz saw the gendarmerie team conducting radar inspection at the last moment and was caught by the radar at a speed of 301 kmh in Kocaeli, Turkey. (@sakir.duz/Newsflash)

The footage was well received by his army of 264,000 followers who posted several messages expressing their shock at how fast he was going whilst reminding him how dangerous his stunt was.

A Netizen named ‘umitdereli’ wrote: “Bro, please drive slowly. These vehicles are produced only to be used at these speeds on special tracks. People change lanes a lot while driving, and you’re too fast.”

Another Netizen named ‘umit.aygen5’ wrote: “As you passed by the cops one of them said: ‘It appears a dragon just flew past us on the road but we didn’t have time to get a good look’.”

Despite umit.aygen5’s optimism the cops did get a good luck at Sakir and according to the local new site Sabah they sent him a fine of TRY 1,339 (GBP 114,2) for reckless driving and speeding.

Sakir made a statement in a live Instagram broadcast saying he paid the fine.

The fine has done little to deter Sakir as he has continued to upload videos of himself speeding along Turkish roads at eyewatering speeds.
