BUS STROP: Driver Sacked For Leaving Behind Baby In Buggy
A pig-headed bus driver who trapped a man’s arm in the doors and left behind a baby in a buggy has been sacked by his bosses in Russia.
The driver refused to stop after a male passenger trapped his arm in the door trying to bring his baby on board.
And as he drove off through the South Butovo in Moscow he stubbornly stuck to his route, even though the passenger told him he had left a baby behind.
Phone footage of the drama – shot on a Mosgortrans bus on 4th July – shows the man pleading with the driver.
As he stubbornly sticks to his route, the passenger yells at the driver: “I’m with a baby in a stroller, I have a child outside there.
“Give me my hand back, you idiot!”
But the driver refused to stop and only opened the door at the next official stop.
After the footage was widely shared on social media, the transport company Mosgortrans confirmed that the bus driver in the footage has since been dismissed.
The Moscow transport company said in a statement: “Without doubt, such actions from bus drivers are completely unacceptable.
“Based on the result of a review, the driver in question was dismissed.”
