A German stoner has clogged his own toilet while trying to flush his huge cannabis stash down the loo when the cops came to his home.

The 24-year-old man, name not disclosed but who comes from the municipality of Sulzbach-Rosenberg in the German state of Bavaria, was arrested by the police on 13th March.

According to the police report, officers were called to the scene after the man’s neighbours overheard a heated argument in his apartment at 2am.

When officers from the Sulzbach-Rosenberg Police Station arrived at the property, they encountered the man as he was leaving his home.

In an attempt to prevent them from entering his flat, he reportedly pushed one officer down the stairs and was immediately placed under arrest.

While searching his apartment, cops were stunned to find several hundred grammes of cannabis clogging the toilet bowl after he apparently tried to flush his large stash down the loo.

The police reported: “The reason he wanted to prevent the police from entering quickly became apparent!”

The police said the toilet was blocked “due to the quantity and degree of drying”, adding that “the marijuana did not want to drain away”.

In addition to cannabis, the cops also seized hashish, ecstasy and prescription drugs during the search.

The police said: “There were several people in the apartment, some who gave different information about ownership [of the drugs]. Therefore, two other apartments in the Amberg-Sulzbach district were searched on the orders of the Amberg public prosecutor’s office.”

The 24-year-old suspect faces charges of assaulting a law enforcement officer and narcotics possession.
