This is the moment that a lost and injured parrot with a broken leg lands on a woman’s head.

The woman then shared the incident on social media where after being seen over 300,000 times the parrot’s concerned owner saw it, and got in touch.

The bizarre incident occurred on Bedok North Street 3 in Singapore on 13th May.

In the video, the injured parrot can be seen standing at the side of the road when it suddenly flies towards the woman.

The injured bird appears to find the woman’s hair very comfortable and refuses to budge until a passerby helps remove the bird from its makeshift nest.

The woman seen in the video, known on TikTok as @f.zna, shared the footage online and explained that she had handed the little bird over to a vet where it was being taken care of.

She said she missed the bird but couldn’t look after it as she lives with her cat that she doesn’t think would take too kindly to the little parrot.

The video, which has now been played 329,600 times, was eventually seen by a Netizen who knew the owner of the bird.

Local news outlet MustShareNews reports that the bird’s owner turned out to be a local shop owner who had reportedly spent days looking for her pet only to be reunited with it thanks to a TikTok video.

Local media reports that the bird is now back at home recovering from its injury. It is unclear how it injured its leg.
