This shocking footage shows how a model was rugby-tackled, dragged down the street and forced into a home, where she was beaten by her jilted ex.
CCTV cameras caught the incident as it unfolded in Castanhal, Para state, northern Brazil on 29th August.
Stunning Debora Layla Silva, 22, was attacked by her ex-boyfriend, who broke into her home, allegedly in ‘revenge’ for her ending their relationship over a supposed affair.
Police withheld his name.
Harrowing footage shows how he chased Debora down the street before rugby-tackling her to the tarmac.
He then picked her up and marched her back down the street before bundling her into a property on the same road.
As of 31st August, he had not been arrested, but Civil Police (Brazil’s investigative police force) said efforts were being made to locate him.
Following the frightening ordeal, Debora reported what had happened to her at a women’s police station.
She was then sent to a health facility for treatment for the bruises, cuts and scrapes she had sustained during the brutal attack.
A request for a restraining order against her ex was made.
Debora later took to social media to say: “I will not remain silent. Because from the start I accepted infidelities, lies and immature behaviour.
“So, a little more than a fortnight ago I discovered yet another infidelity and I decided once and for all to end this relationship that only made me sick. And do you know what happened?
“He was not satisfied to see me well, cured and moving on with my life. I was attacked (remembering it wasn’t the first time) because he didn’t accept that we’re not together anymore and I’m moving on with my life.
“If you’re experiencing aggression, don’t remain silent.”
The search for the suspect continues.
