Moment Ukrainian Woman Emotionally Asks Russian Soldier Why He Came To Her Country To Kill Her Parents And Children

This is the moving moment a brave Ukrainian woman emotionally asks a man believed to be a Russian soldier who she calls a terrorist why he has come to her country to kill her parents and children.

The incident reportedly took place during an ID check near the village of Zhytne, which is located in the Romensky district of the Sumy Oblast region, which borders Russia in north-eastern Ukraine.

The footage has not been independently verified but it was shared by Ukrainian Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko.

In the footage, the woman can be heard saying: “I’m currently in the village of Zhytne. I’ve been stopped by strangers with red stripes. They demand my ID. They demand my ID and demand to open my trunk. I don’t understand on what grounds.”

The soldier can then be heard saying: “Hello.”

The woman replies “Hello. Show me your face. Why should I show my ID to terrorists? I am a citizen of Ukraine. I was born here. Right here. On this very land. Do you understand?”

The military man, visibly uncomfortable, replies: “Please, calm down.

The Ukrainian woman then says: “Why did you come to kill my parents, my children? So, who are you?”

The soldier says: “Nobody came.”

The woman then says “Why do you point a gun at me and stop me? On my land?”

The Russian soldier tells her: “Look, it’s not for you.”

The woman replies: “For whom is it? For whom?

The woman also reportedly said: “Why did you hide your face and come to us? So show your face! Why do I have to show my passports to terrorists? I am a citizen of Ukraine, I was born here, on this native land. Do you understand? Why did you come to kill my parents and children? Why?”

She also said: “Take off your mask, I want to see what kind of person stands behind a woman with a machine gun.”

She continues: “So why did you come to Sumy ?! I didn’t go to you! I’m not killing anyone on your land. Who are you? … You’re in my home.”

She also said that she should not have to show her passport to anyone, saying: “Do you want to say that I am in Russia? Or in Kazakhstan? Or Azerbaijan? Well, where am I now? Explain it to me, because I probably do not understand something. Why. did you stay here? Why do I need a passport regime here?”
