This is the moment a woman suddenly rams a man against a wall with her car and narrowly misses him seconds later when she nearly overturns in the street.

The incident was filmed in the city of Cangzhou in the Chinese province of Hebei last week.

According to Chinese reports, the incident was accidental and the female driver was flustered when she committed several nearly-fatal blunders.

However, some netizens said the incident appeared intentional and the local police have confirmed that they are investigating the matter.

In the CCTV, a man in black clothes is seen walking along the road in the distance.

A white car driving slowly along the road then turns in the man’s direction and apparently speeds up.

The man is hit by the car bonnet and apparently thrown against a wall.

However, he soon gets to his feet as the woman driver backs up slightly.

As the man starts to walk away, the motorist seemingly accelerates towards him again and he has to jump into an area of wasteground.

The woman then drives in his direction again but is unable to accelerate onto the wasteground.

The man starts to run away along the side of the road and the motorist accelerates and turns in his direction again, missing him by millimetres as she smashes into a wall and nearly overturns the car.

He then runs up to the car and drags the woman out of the driver’s seat and she slumps to the ground.
