Moment Influencer Cooks Cute Piglet He Made An Online Star In Numerous Viral Vids

This is the moment a Japanese man apparently cooks and eats the adorable piglet he made a YouTube star in videos that have garnered millions of views.

Kalbi, age not reported, launched a YouTube channel called ‘Eating Pig After 100 Days’ over three months ago.

He posted almost daily videos of the cute piglet called Kalbi on the channel with many going viral. ‘Kalbi’ or ‘galbi’ means ribs in Korean.

At the end of each upload, the YouTuber included a countdown to the day when his piglet was due to be slaughtered.

According to local media, the channel sparked debate among many netizens when it was first launched and the YouTuber explained what he intended to do with the piglet after 100 days.

The channel quickly caught the attention of interested netizens and boasts over 115,000 subscribers today.

In an update on 30th August, the man announced that Kalbi only has two days to live.

On 1st September, he shared a video called ‘Pig Eaten On The 100th Day’ that went viral with 1.7 million views in one day.

The footage apparently shows the pig owner taking Kalbi away to be slaughtered before cooking it on the barbecue.

The video then shows the YouTuber holding a candlelit vigil for his slaughtered piglet, presumably now in the man’s digestive system.

Despite many subscribers expressing their sadness at seeing Kalbi apparently pass away, others were happy to play along with the YouTuber’s request to list their favourite pork dishes.

However, YouTube user ‘Tung Pho’ commented, perhaps rather hopefully: “Plot twist: this is a different pig, the real pig is OK!”

The Japanese man’s last YouTube video of the animal being cooked has apparently split opinion among netizens with 38,000 viewers giving it the ‘thumbs up’ and a significant 23,000 giving it the ‘thumbs down’.
