US Airborne Conduct Deployment Readiness Exercise In Below Zero Temperatures In The Arctic

A US Airborne crew conducted a successful Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise at the northern polar circle.

The air operation took place at the Arctic Circle on the 4th of April and it was posted by the U.S. Army on the 23rd of May.

A video shows how paratroopers jumped off a plane and landed on the frozen surface beneath.

A few moments later the soldiers are seen sinking at very low-temperature water under the ice sheets.

The Arctic exercise included the high-altitude military parachuting technique, the Air Force’s capability for rapid mobility and combat dive under ice. in the exercise participated the members of the 10th group of US Special Air Forces.
