This video purports to show Russian precision weapons destroying a hangar containing Ukrainian rocket launchers amid the resumption of talks between the two countries.

The footage was posted online by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Russian Federation today (Monday, 14th March) and obtained by Newsflash.

The Russian MoD posted the video with the text: “Destruction of multiple launch rocket systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“With the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle, the location of two rocket launchers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was established, which, having fired ammunition, proceeded to reload in the hangar with ammunition.

“After the rocket launchers entered the hangar, it was hit by a high-precision op. The missile accurately hit the target.

“The video shows the detonation of rocket-propelled ammunition stored in the hangar.”

The footage was posted amid Russian and Ukrainian representatives resuming talks in a bid to end the ongoing fighting, which is currently in its 19th day.

Though the Ukrainian side has hinted at progress, Russia continues its bombardment of several Ukrainian cities, with at least one person killed in a recent strike on a block of flats in Kyiv.

According to the UK Ministry of Defence, Russian naval forces currently control Ukraine’s Black Sea coast, blocking the country off from maritime trade.

The Kremlin is still calling its actions in Ukraine a “special military operation”, while most countries around the world are calling them an “invasion” or “a war”.
