Brazilian Cop Pulls Huge Boa Constrictor From Innards Of Farmers Car

This is the moment a Brazilian cop helps to remove a huge boa constrictor from the innards of a shocked farmer’s car.

The bizarre incident took place in the administrative region of Planaltina in Brazil’s west-central Federal District on the morning of 13th March.

According to the news site Metropoles, the car owner, a local farmer, called the emergency services after spotting the huge snake entering the car.

The Military Police arrived on the scene and assisted in the removal of the large snake, which they reached by removing the car’s backseats.

Sergeant Edson Amado of the Military Police Environmental Battalion (BPMA) said the farmer was alerted to the snake by his barking dogs, adding: “He saw part of the snake entering above the fuel tank and then contacted us.”

The sergeant believes the boa constrictor fed on chickens on the farm and was attracted by the heat of the vehicle’s engine.

The authorities said the boa constrictor was 1.8 metres (5.9 feet) long and weighed around 3.5 kilogrammes (7.7 lbs).

As the snake was uninjured in the rescue, it was later released in a wooded area in Planaltina.

The BPMA advised residents to always call them when encountering a wild animal, adding that they will always be released in the nearest conservation area if they are in a healthy condition.
