This footage shows a Russian howitzer reversing into the woods with its gun pointed in the air before firing at Ukrainian targets.

The Russian MoD shared the video on social media on 6th June with the message: “Combat work with the calculations of self-propelled ‘Msta-S’ guns.”

In the footage, the Msta-S howitzer is seen being reversed into woodland with its cannon pointed in the air.

Russian soldiers load and prepare the armoured vehicle before firing shells at enemy targets.

After apparently destroying the Ukrainian targets, the operators of the Msta-S leave the wooded area.
