This young woman who was bullied because of her looks and even called ugly by her own mum has wowed netizens with her transformation after good Samaritans reached and offered her a free makeover.

Matwa Fifi who lives in Pretoria in South Africa and studied at the Unisa University was trolled so much on social networks that she ended up closing many of her accounts.

According to reports, even her own mother has referred to her as “ugly”.

But she refused to give in to trolls and at one point even wrote: “I won’t give up. I won’t kill myself for u guys. I won’t stop loving myself because of u guys.”

She added: “This is how God made me and I am proud of who I am.”

Matwa said she received counselling to improve her self-esteem and recently was contacted by some unnamed good Samaritans who offered to do a complete makeover to help her confidence.

She shared the results of the makeover on Facebook, and many netizens were impressed with her new look.

Matwa posted a video of her wearing a glam black dress and makeup on 14th June with the message: “Do not judge a book by its cover, look at me now, you are beautiful, you’re busy calling me names, look at me now. I do not even believe that this is me, this is not me, you are so beautiful now. I know that I’m beautiful.”

Facebook user ‘Intellect Isaac Stephen’ commented: “Beautiful… I love you so much, wishing to be your humble husband.”

‘Athabile Camagu’ remarked: “Gurrl you’re beautiful with or without that makeup.”

‘Noku Iviwe Mkoko’ wrote: “You’re so beautiful my love, don’t ever doubt that.”
