This is the moment a dedicated deliveryman struggles in deep, murky water to hand over an order to a hungry client.

The incident took place in the city of Zhengzhou in the Chinese province of Henan after a continuous spell of heavy rain, flooding many regions in the province.

Due to flooding in urban areas, many residents were left without power or the ability to nip to the shops so had to rely on takeaways.

One delivery man was hailed for his professionalism after he was filmed swimming through deep floodwater to reach a customer’s home.

The deliveryman successfully handed over the order in front of a crowd of onlookers standing on a grass bank under umbrellas.

In the footage, a crowd of people on an embankment look on as the deliveryman swims through the deep water, apparently over head height.

As he kicks his legs in the murky water, he diligently holds the food bag aloft to prevent it from getting wet.

At the end of the clip, the deliveryman turns to the cameraperson, possibly the hungry customer waiting for their food, and forces a slim smile while apparently struggling to stay afloat and certainly feeling the cold by that point.
