Air Tankers Responding At The Thomas Creek Fire Spot

Okanagan Falls, Canada

These three firefighting jets can be seen spreading water over the wild forest fire. Thomas Creek Fire broke out due to lightning that hit the wooded area near Okanagan Falls, Canada on 9th July. Okanagan Falls Volunteer Fire Department responded on the scene with three FireBoss Air Tankers dumping water alongside forestry. During Trestle Creek Complex Fire, Allendale lake road and McLean Creek road were qualified under evacuation alert. Authorities remained on the scene overnight to monitor the behaviour of the flames. The efforts of firefighters are currently coordinated by the Nevada Type 3 Incident Management Team 3. No further details are known.
