Baby Girl Survives Day And Night Under Rubble Of Collapsed Building

This three-month-old baby girl has survived a day and a night buried in rubble in a wrecked building after a landslide caused it to collapse and killed her mother.

The incident took place in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province in central China, when the building collapsed on 21st July (Wednesday).

The footage shows the moment the baby girl is rescued and carefully removed from the rubble.

One of the rescuers, Captain Wang, told local media that the baby was rescued safely and that it was a “very healthy baby girl”. The girl is between three and four months old.

The young girl’s mother, who has not been named, died as a result of the collapse, according to the latest reports.

The collapse occurred due to a landslide and heavy rain that had battered the region.

Local media reports that the girl cried loudly when she was rescued, much to everyone’s relief, as her crying informed them that she had survived.

It is currently unclear how many more people may be trapped in the rubble of the collapsed building.

Heavy storms have badly affected parts of China in the last few days, causing some cities to flood. At least 51 people have died, according to the latest report.
