BRIDE RESCUE: Bride Who Threastened To Jump Into Ravine During Honeymoon After Quarrel With Groom Rescued By Cops

This is the moment Italian police officers rescue a bride who was on a honeymoon and threatened to jump into a ravine after a quarrel with the groom.

The incident happened at the historical place of Piazza San Pietro Caveoso in the Italian city of Matera, on the night of 1st April.

In the footage, the police vehicle can be seen arriving at the scene, and then police officers talking with the young woman to calm her down.

According to the statement by the police, the officers who were controlling the area noticed a human dangerously leaning beyond the iron parapet overlooking the ravine “in an area unfortunately known for having been the scene of tragic episodes in the past.”

When the officers approached the unnamed woman, they found out it was a woman on a honeymoon who apparently wanted to commit suicide after quarreling with her husband.

The police added: “The woman, after being restored to calm and becoming aware of the seriousness of her behavior, thanked the policemen for their timely intervention.”

It is unknown if the husband was aware of his wife’s intentions or if he was present at the scene.
