CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Man Arrested After Assaulting Influencer Girlfriend On Camera
A man has been arrested after a horrifying video of him allegedly beating his influencer girlfriend who desperately cries for help as she films the incident has come to light.
Security guard Uanderglei da Conceicao, who goes by the name ‘Vanderlei Bambam’ was reportedly caught red-handed in the area of Santa Cruz in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, after police received a call for help from an influencer and model known as Amanda Souza, on 12th August 2022.
Officers arrived at the scene to find that Amanda had just allegedly been punched in the face while the model reportedly told police that her partner was unwilling to accept that their relationship had ended and was keeping her in a private prison.
In the video, Souza is seen with an apparently bruised face and a bleeding mouth.
She cries: “Help me please! Help!”
She also says: “My mouth bleeding. My mouth is bleeding here!”
A man allegedly identified as Vanderlei then appears on the screen.
He shouts: “Crying without me having done anything. Making a fuss here. Again! Making a fuss.”
He is also heard asking: “Do you want to continue?
“Either you stop or it’s over.”
He then apparently proceeds to wrestle the phone from her grip before allegedly hitting her in the face on camera with a disturbing degree of normalcy.
In a second video, the security guard records his partner as she cries.
He tells her: “Crying without me having done anything, making a story, making a scandal without me having done anything.”
She responds through tears: “I just want to leave.”
In a final video, Amanda puts her injuries on display in order to reveal the abuse she had allegedly endured.
Local media reported the police as saying in a statement: “The team went to the address and found that the woman had several marks of aggression, old and recent. One of them was a punch in the face that had just happened.”
Vanderlei, who has previous charges of domestic violence and had already been accused of assault by his previous girlfriend, an influencer and luxury escort named Lays Peace, was subsequently charged with assault along with false imprisonment and was taken to a prison in the neighbourhood of Benfica to the north the city.
