A Peeping Tom who preyed on young girls in a store changing room has been branded “a piece of sh*t” by cops.

Burly Dalton Matheson, 29, was arrested after he was caught dangling his mobile phone over the dividing wall in a changing room, where two sisters aged four and 12 were trying on clothes.

Matheson was confronted by the girls’ father and security guards but fled the Goodwill Store in Fort Meyers, Florida, USA, on 2nd April.

He was seized by police two hours later while hiding in a bus depot after changing his clothes, say officials.

Straight-talking Sheriff Carmine Marceno said: “This piece of sh*t is where he belongs – behind bars.”

Matheson has been charged with video voyeurism, resisting arrest, and theft.

The authorities said in a statement: “On April 2, 2022, at approximately 9:30 a.m., the male entered the Goodwill Store, located at 4950 Challenger Boulevard, selected clothing, and went to the fitting room.

“Two female juveniles, also shopping, shortly went to the fitting room to try on clothing occupying the stall next to the male.

“While inside, the male allegedly took his cellphone and started recording the juvenile females from the top of the fitting room as they changed and tried on clothing.

“One of the juvenile females observed the cellphone and made a comment.

“The male immediately removed his cellphone and immediately left the store. The images are from the video from the Goodwill Store.”

Police are also investigating a second incident said to have happened on the same day.
