This is the moment a clumsy cow is winched out of a deep roadside ditch by firefighters and volunteers.
The incident took place in the village of Chapinero near the Colombian capital Bogota on 4th July.
According to local media reports, a farmer called in the emergency services after his cow fell into the ditch.
With the help of passersby, the farmer tried to save the animal himself but did not have the necessary equipment to lift the heavy beast out of the hole.
The emergency services arrived in the village and the cow was first strapped into a makeshift harness and then lifted out of the ditch by firefighters with the help of neighbours.
The animal was then checked and confirmed to be in good health.
Despite being uninjured, the cow was completely covered in mud and in need of a good hosing down.
The cow was then handed over to its relieved owner.
In the footage, around a dozen firefighters and volunteers are seen checking the ropes and makeshift harness tied around the suspended cow’s body before winching it to safety.
