This is the inspiring moment a brave mother cat attacks and scares a pack of dogs that attacked her kitten.

The incident happened when three stray dogs in the Seyhan district in the south-eastern Turkish province of Adana cornered a kitten near shops.

The dogs surrounded the young cat which was then terrified when it realised it was cornered and surrounded by the barking dogs.

But When you realise what was happening, the mother cat, whom the shopkeepers called ‘Tekir’, fearlessly attacked the dogs to save her 7-month-old kitten.

In the footage, the stray dogs, who were shocked by the onslaught, can be seen fleeing and leaving the kitten alone after being nonplussed by the cats aggressive behaviour.

The mother cat’s courage and her fearless attack on stray dogs to protect her kitten have been praised on social media.

Some also said more should be done to make sure there were no more stray dogs on the streets.

A Twitter user named ‘Orhan Gundem’ commented, “No need to be surprised. Her descendants come from the lions.”

Another Twitter user named ‘Mehmet Ali’ commented saying, “Kitten is on its lucky day, but tomorrow it won’t be like that. That kitten has no chance against stray dogs. As long as there are stray dogs on the streets, they will rip that cat and her kittens apart.”

A netizen named ‘Hatice Kubra Kaya’ wrote, “The feeling of motherhood is the most dominant feeling in the world. There is nothing that cannot be done or tackled with this feeling.”
