This is the moment a biker and their passenger go flying after hitting a car at high speed in packed, rush-hour traffic.

CCTV footage of the smash – in La Plata, the capital of Argentina’s Buenos Aires province, eastern Argentina on 5th August – shows both riders being flung from their bike as they collide with the car.

As the car turns across their side of the road, the bike can be seen crunching into the side of the vehicle.

Both the bike rider and their passenger fly through the air with one of them landing on the car they had just hit.

The other can be seen getting up to run after the vehicle.

But – according to local media – both were seriously hurt in the crash and were taken to hospital by paramedics.

There have been no updates on the condition of either the motorcyclist or their passenger, who have not been named.
