This is the moment a cute bendy baby comforts herself with her favourite plaything – her feet.

The scenes were filmed by the baby’s mother Ms Zhou at the family home in the city of Nanjing in the Chinese province of Jiangsu, and were later shared on Douyin, also known as TikTok, where they have been widely viewed on her page.

Ms Zhou, who said her daughter’s name is Mitao, told AsiaWire: “My baby was born in October 2020 so about 11 months ago, and she has no brothers or sisters yet.”

She added that her baby is equally flexible with both feet and uses them for a variety of different tasks.

In the first video, the mother said that Mitao was not in the mood for eating her dinner so she comforted herself by raising her leg and tapping her head with her toes.

In the second clip, the tot appears mesmerised with her right foot and plays with it while holding a feather in her right hand.

After wiggling her foot around and apparently snapping out of the daydream she was in, the baby turns her attention to a remote control on the floor.

Ms Zhou said her baby likes to bring her feet up to her face to smell them and kiss her toes.

She said she is filming the baby’s unusual habit to show her when she grows up, and of course because she finds it very cute.
