This is the red-faced moment when a hapless chef spins a sheet of dough in the air and it lands on a diner’s face.

The cook – caught on CCTV – had been showing off to customers at a restaurant in Wuhan, Hubei province, central China, on 24th July.

But as he spins the batter into a pancake-style circle, he hurls it into the air, only for a gust of wind to catch it.

As he looks on in horror, the breeze blows the pancake straight into the face of a woman diner.

Luckily, she apparently sees the funny side of the slip and peels off the dough, handing it back to the cook.

But a shirtless man sitting beside the woman does not appear impressed and can be seen nudging her as if to say she should have complained.

Netizen ‘Young Tsai’ joked: “The weather is hot, give the beauty a cloth towel to wipe the sweat.”

While online commenter ‘McDonald’s’ wrote: “Trying to be Rodman.”
