This is the moment when a woman is a split second from being knocked senseless when part of a roof falls on top of her.

CCTV footage of the lucky escape shows the woman walking towards a shop in Dongying, Shandong province, eastern China, on 24th July.

As she reaches the door, a shower of roof tiles comes tumbling down towards her.

But instead of landing on her head, they slide harmlessly off her shoulder and chest before smashing on the floor.

Clearly shaken, she carries on towards the store, owned – said local media – by her husband, named as Mr Wang.

He told local media that the decorative tiles had been fixed above the shop door but had probably come loose because of heavy rain.

Netizen ‘Yao Guitu’ commented: “This is a blessing from a previous life.”

While online commenter ‘Soldier’s heart’ wrote: “This is also the blessing of your accumulation of virtue and good deeds!”

And ‘Hu Hui’ said: “There will be good luck.”
