Footage Allegedly Shows Russian Warplane Plunging To Ground In Fireball After Ukrainians Shoot It With Missile
This footage purports to show a Russian warplane plunging to the ground in a fireball after Ukrainian forces shot it with a missile.
The first video of the incident was posted by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) to social media yesterday (Sunday, 6th March).
The SBU wrote alongside the video: “You can forever watch the fire, the water and how the downed Russian plane falls…
“Until the end of the war, we make only these kinds of fireworks in the sky!

The second video of the incident was posted by the National Guard of Ukraine to social media, also yesterday, alongside the text: “Kharkiv.
“At approximately 6.15pm, an enemy Su-25 fighter was shot down by a unit of the National Guard of Ukraine from a portable anti-aircraft missile system near the KhAZ [Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing Company]. The pilot of the enemy vehicle did not have time to eject and died on the spot. The plane crashed near Kulynychi [suburb of Kharkiv].
“Let’s continue to work to destroy the remaining fans of bombing our city!”
Moscow claims that 498 of its soldiers have been killed in what President Vladimir Putin has dubbed a “special military operation”.
Kyiv, however, says the Russian military has suffered over 11,000 casualties in its invasion of Ukraine.
Kharkiv is Ukraine’s second-largest city and it has faced intense aerial bombardment from Russian forces in recent days.
