Heart Stopping Moment Heroic Firefighter Hurriedly Carries Flaming Gas Canister Out Of Residential Building

This is the heart-stopping moment a heroic firefighter hurriedly carries a flaming gas canister down some steps from a residential building and ditches it away from people before it can explode.

But first, the brave firefighter, who risked his life to remove the dangerous object from the residential building, has to stop to put snow on his gloves after apparently suffering some burns while carrying the flaming canister down some steps.

The incident, during which the gas canister seems to be on the verge of exploding, took place in the city of Jiaozuo, which is located in Henan Province in central China on Sunday, 23rd January.

Firefighters responded to the scene after a citizen reportedly called the police saying that his gas canister was on fire and he was afraid that it was going to explode.

The firefighters rushed to the scene to tackle the blaze.

The footage shows a firefighter in full gear hurrying down some steps while carrying the flaming gas canister.

He puts it down just long enough to rub his glove-covered hands in snow before he and a colleague pick it up again using a stick.

They then carry it to an open space where they hastily put it down and back away.

The burning gas canister can then be seen being doused with water from a hose held by a firefighter.

It is currently unclear if the heroic firefighter, who has not been named, suffered any injuries to his hands.

They appear to have been somewhat protected by his special gloves, but the fact that he has to stop to cover his hands with snow indicates that he may have suffered some mild burns that might have required medical treatment.

It is currently unclear what caused the fire in the building.
