PLUNGE BOY MIRACLE: Good Samaritans Help To Save Six Year Old After 60ft Fall

A four-year-old boy survived a 60-foot fall from an apartment block window after quick-thinking passersby helped to save him.

The youngster had plunged to the ground from block in the Bronx, in New York City, on 5th April.

And within seconds, locals had called for emergency services and were checking the lad’s condition as he lay sprawled on the grass.

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) said on 6th April: “When a 4-year-old boy fell out of a 6th-floor window in the Bronx yesterday, residents tending to the boy immediately called 9-1-1.

“In a coordinated effort by the residents, EMS, and officers from @NYPDPSA7 [Police Service Area #7], the boy was rushed to the hospital & is currently in stable condition.”

In the footage, a resident is seen kneeling on the ground next to the boy’s motionless body as officers arrive to help and other neighbours look on.

An officer takes the injured boy, wrapped in a blue blanket, from the kneeling resident and sprints towards a police vehicle.

The driver is seen speeding through city streets to arrive at a nearby hospital, where an officer gets out while cradling the motionless boy in his arms.

The young lad is then placed on a stretcher as a firefighter brings over a bottle of oxygen.
