Helicopter Falcon 30 Performig Rescue Mission Of An Injured Person In A Hard-To-Reach Area

The Placer County Sheriff’s helicopter helped Cal Fire rescue an injured hiker in a hard-to-reach area. The rescue operation was conducted by the Falcon 30 helicopter and its crew on Steven’s Trailhead near Colfax, California on Saturday afternoon on 10th July. The flight crew worked with firefighters on the ground to pick up the victim onto the helicopter and then transported the injured to an area where American Medical Response was waiting. The rescued person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The victim is expected to be well soon.
