Helicopter Rescue At Table Rock Trail Of A Hiker Suffering A Medical Emergency
Table Rock Trail, Oregon, 3 July
CHP H-32, together with CAL FIRE/Napa County Fire Department, City of Calistoga Fire Department, and American Medical Response (AMR) Napa County, responded to a report of an injured hiker. The rescue operation took place a remote route at the Table Rock Trail in Oregon on 3rd July. H-32 was able to find the hiker with the use of GPS coordinates supplied by Cal Fire Saint Helena Dispatch. A rescuer got off at the hiker’s location and picked up the injured person in a helicopter. The hiker was flown from the isolated route to the Calistoga Fairgrounds, where fire and EMS crews were waiting. No further details are known.
