Man Surprises Burglar Robbing Ex Wifes Home While Dressed In Her Bra And Dress

A man paying a visit to his ex-wife’s house got a weird surprise when he found a burglar robbing the property wearing a bra and dress belonging to his former spouse.

The man visited his ex-wife’s house in the city of Albany in the US state of Georgia on 10th November and reportedly encountered the male suspect, named as Marion Albritten Jr., in the hallway wearing the woman’s bra, dress and sunglasses.

The gunman then reportedly made the man undress and stole his phone, clothes and the keys to his vehicle before fleeing the scene.

Initially, the police were unable to find Albritten Jr. because he had already disappeared by the time they arrived on the scene.

According to the Albany Police Department (APD), online netizens provided useful information that subsequently led to the suspect’s arrest.

The police added that the suspect is being held at Dougherty County Jail on a charge of armed robbery and could face further charges.

Police spokesperson Wendy Luster said: “Social media has become a helpful tool for obtaining tip information. We would like to thank and encourage our citizens to continue to use the platform to help slow down crime in our city.”

The Justice Policy Center published a report in the Social Media Guidebook for Law Enforcement Agencies that said around 98 percent of police departments use Facebook and 71 percent take advantage of Twitter.

The report said that social networks allow residents to cooperate in community matters and send information to the authorities that often proves useful.
