Moment Man Rams Pickup Truck Into Police Cars At Over 100 MPH, Resulting In Fiery Explosion

This is the moment a man rams his car into a mobile command post at over 100 miles per hour, resulting in a fiery explosion.

The incident took place in the census-designated place of Denair in the US state of California on the night of 14th June.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department had received a call earlier in the evening from the wife of 39-year-old Javier Cueto-Aldaz, who said her husband was suicidal and had a knife.

A helicopter was sent to the scene, and deputies spotted a man matching the suspect’s description outside the property apparently armed with a rifle.

They rerouted traffic out of the vicinity and advised local residents to leave their homes after they spotted the suspect drinking alcohol and getting in and out of cars parked on the property.

The deputies fixed up a mobile command post around a mile from the scene while a negotiator contacted the suicidal man to try to diffuse the situation and urge him to turn himself in.

The negotiation was unsuccessful, however, with Cueto-Aldaz telling the official he was prepared to kill himself.

Shortly afterwards, he got into a pickup truck and sped towards the mobile command post the deputies had set up at over 100 miles per hour.

Aerial footage shows how his pickup truck collides with three patrol cars, causing his vehicle to set alight and overturn on a plot of land next to the road.

The deputies had run for cover and were uninjured in the incident. However, they swiftly returned to the scene to pull the suspect from his crashed vehicle and provide first aid in footage that was also recorded.

Cueto-Aldaz was then taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
