Moment Iggy Pops Head-Banging Cockatoo Rocks Out To UK Punk Band

This is the delightful moment Iggy Pop’s head-banging pet cockatoo rocks out to ‘Tweet Tweet Tweet’ by UK punk duo Sleaford Mods.

The Nottingham band shared the clip on Twitter where it has gone viral with 3.2 million views.

In the clip, legendary rocker Iggy Pop, 74, is seen relaxing at home with his pet cockatoo Biggy Pop on his lap.

He says to his pet: “Here’s some UK music, Biggy.”

Iggy starts ‘Tweet Tweet Tweet’ by the Sleaford Mods and smiles when the bird recognises the song and starts swaying.

The bird then starts bopping when the drums kick in, even rolling its head like a long-haired rock fan at the front of the stage during a loud concert.

The clip has been shared by celebrities such as Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, Flights of the Conchords’ Jemaine Clement, and presenter Edith Bowman.

Twitter user ‘Social & political dissident Activist’ commented: “I don’t know what is more of a joy, seeing Biggy enjoying that song or watching Iggy’s face light up. I’ll be saving this for whenever I’m in need of a Red heart smile!”
