Precision Missile Pinpoints Camouflaged Russian Tank And Makes It Smoulder

This video purportedly shows a precision missile picking out and neutralising a Russian tank as enemy losses continue to mount during the ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

Newsflash obtained the footage, filmed in an unspecified location in the Eastern European country, from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine yesterday evening (Tuesday, 22nd March).

The tank, camouflaged in with its surroundings, is barely noticeable at the beginning of the footage. But a missile is later seen flying in from the right and hitting the vehicle, causing an explosion that leaves it smouldering.

The video was accompanied with the text: “Ukrainian soldiers continue to accurately and economically destroy the Russian occupiers. Economically not because there is not enough ammunition; Ukrainians are simply masters.

“Russians, if you want to live, leave!

“Well, or capture is also an option.

“P.S. Or it will be like in the video.

According to the news agency Ukrinform, “from February 24 to March 22, the Russian invaders lost about 15,300 personnel, 509 tanks, 1,556 armored combat vehicles, 252 artillery systems, 80 MLRS, 45 air defense units, 99 aircraft, 123 helicopters, 1,000 vehicles, 3 ships/boats, 70 fuel tanks, 35 UAVs of operational and tactical level, 15 special equipment units”.

However, these figures have not been independently verified, with US intelligence officials recently giving a “conservative” estimate of over 7,000 Russian deaths.

Despite sluggish progress, the Russian Armed Forces have managed to occupy swathes of territory in northern, eastern and southern Ukraine.

However, the Kremlin is believed to have underestimated the resolve and determination of the Ukrainian resistance, and, as such, Russian forces have so far failed to take the major cities, such as Kyiv or Kharkiv.

Western officials have said that Russian forces are facing shortages of food and fuel and that a number of soldiers have frostbite.

The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office has accused the Russian Armed Forces of causing the deaths of 121 children and injuring 167 youngsters.

The UN has said that the invasion has so far resulted in over 3.5 million refugees and 6.5 million internally displaced persons.

The majority of refugees have headed to Poland, with significant numbers going to Romania, Moldova, Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, Russia and Germany.

Many countries have responded to the invasion of Ukraine with a raft of sanctions, which are inflicting pain upon the Russian economy.
