The car skids along the wet road surface and the driver apparently loses control, careering into the biker and shunting the front of another vehicle.

Meanwhile, the biker is knocked into a slip lane and their head is nearly crushed by a passing car. The driver manages to stop before they apparently run over the motorcyclist’s outstretched hand.

The biker is seen gingerly getting to their feet as the driver of the shunted car gets out of his vehicle and the footage ends.

According to local media, the female motorist, whose surname was given as Yang, tried to speed past the traffic light while it was changing, but lost control of her vehicle on the wet road.

The police said no one was injured in the incident and that Yang is to be held fully responsible for causing the accident.

Netizen ‘Artsumbell’ commented: “I really want to praise the driver of the black car who braked in time. If they didn’t, the motorcyclist’s hand…”
