Footage shows how a man with a foreign numberplate pulled up in the middle of the acceleration lane so his young son could relieve himself.

The images show the youngster sitting on his potty with his underpants around his ankles as he does a number two on the lane.

His impatient dad looks on, waiting for him to finish, while the two remain at risk from oncoming traffic.

When the tot has finished, his dad picks up the potty and hurls the contents over the crash barrier.

He then rinses the potty with water before taking a swig from the same bottle and gets back into his car to continue on his journey.

Local media pointed out that parking on the acceleration lane is both illegal and dangerous.

They advised anyone needing the loo to wait until the next exit.
