This is the moment a lucky trucker is hurled through the air after being hit by a tanker and gets up to walk away unharmed.

Astonishing CCTV footage of the smash shows the trucker apparently shooting a set of traffic lights in Corum in the Turkish capital Ankara on 5th August.

As he moved forward into the crossroads he was hit at high speed by a tanker on the main road.

In the miraculous footage, the truck cab disintegrates sending the driver sailing across the road.

As he lands he rolls and only comes to a halt when he hits a kerb.

Amazingly, he gets up apparently unscathed and can be seen smoothing down his T-shirt although local media reported he was treated for injuries.

The city council tanker driver Mehmet Sen and four passengers were injured in the smash.

Local media named the passengers as Muhammed İlham, Murat Sur, Yasin Irmak and Bugra Ozdemir.

The security camera belongs to the Urban Safety Management System (KGYS) aimed at safeguarding public security in Turkey.
