After the filmed incident, Flight 1335 spent around two hours on the tarmac in North Carolina before continuing its journey to Florida.
The incident started when a passenger began shouting accusations at a woman in the seat behind him, claiming she was pricking him with a needle to take his DNA, according to at least one passenger on board at the time.
The man became increasingly agitated and reportedly threatened other passengers on the flight, including a baby.
