VID: BLACK SPREE: Russian Navy Missile Strikes Blitz Ukraine

Russia’s navy has pounded Ukrainian targets in a blitz of missiles from one of its Black Sea frigates, the Kremlin has claimed.

Footage showing missiles emerging from a warship have been described by Moscow officials as attacks on Ukrainian “military infrastructure”.

Newsflash obtained the images and a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) earlier today (Thursday, 7th April).

The Russian MoD said: “The Russian Armed Forces carried out a missile strike with precision-guided weapons on Ukraine’s military infrastructure.

“The crew of the frigate of the Black Sea Fleet from the Black Sea carried out a salvo launch of four Kalibr cruise missiles at ground targets in Ukraine.”

Kalibr cruise missile missiles are developed by the Russian Federation and can be launched from naval vessels such as warships and submarines, as well as from the air.
