Viral: Karen Neighbour Crashes Girls Galentines Day Party To Complain About Noise In Footage With Over 15 Million Views

This viral footage with over 15 million views on TikTok alone shows a woman branded a Karen gatecrashing a Galentines Day party in Texas after she deemed it too loud.

Newsflash spoke to the owner of the footage, identified only by her first name Sophie, aged 25, who works as a software salesperson in Austin, in the southern US state of Texas.

Sophie said the footage was shot at an unnamed female friend’s apartment and told Newsflash that the woman had entered the flat without an invitation and refused to leave.

Sophie also said: “The music was not loud enough to where I’d understand if we were disturbing her. I am not sure why she refused to leave. We were asking her very nicely to go and calmly explained she wasn’t welcome and was trespassing in the home.”

The version of the footage posted online by Sophie, who goes as ‘poochiegirl’, was set to Britney Spears’ hit song Toxic where it quickly notching up over 15 million views on TikTok alone.

Sophie said that this was “the first party my friend has ever had there and she has lived in the home for months.”

In the footage numerous guests are seen, some sporting cherub outfits and others reportedly wearing devil costumes, as the party was a Galentine’s day party. They can be seen repeatedly asking the older woman to leave.

But the woman appears to refuse, with Sophie saying in her TikTok post: “We pressed charges.”

Galentine’s Day, which celebrates female friendship and takes place on 13th February, took off after featuring on the popular television show ‘Parks and Recreation’. The holiday is about women celebrating their love and affection for one another and validating their mutual support systems.

Newsflash asked Sophie if she had any new information from the police but she said: “no, no new information from the police at this time.”

But she said that the important thing was “building a record against her so that in the event it happens again there is a case against her.”
