Wild Piglet Saved From Vegetation Fire Eagerly Drinking Water From Firemans Hands

Minas Gerais, Brazil, 22nd August

Firefighters from the Minas Gerais Military Fire Department from the Brasilian state of Minas Gerais, which is the second-largest state in the South American country have rescued a wild piglet from a vegetation fire that was raging in a local forest area. The team of professionals hydrated the animal by giving it water and moved to a safer place away from danger.

After ensuring that the animal’s condition was stable the firefighters sent the little one to the Wild Animal Screening and Rehabilitation Centre (CETRAS) in the municipality of Patos de Minas and urged people to call 193 in case of trouble.

A video that shows the thirsty wild piglet drinking water from a fireman’s hands which was posted on the fire department’s Facebook page, received over 7,300 views in less than 24 hours after it was posted on 22nd August.
