A 2,500-year-old Hebrew Torah embroidered with gold on gazelle skin has been seized by the Turkish police after they tracked down five suspects attempting to sell it on the black market. A German Museum has restored and put on display this extremely rare fibreglass dress which was worn by a Spanish Princess in Chicago over a century ago and had been badly damaged during a World War II air raid. These images capture the restoration of an ancient 4,000-year-old dugout canoe which was salvaged from the bottom of a lake in southern Germany. The 4,000-year-old canoe was discovered in Lake Constance located on the borders between Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Turkish smugglers have been caught in the act by Gendarmerie teams when they tried to sell a valuable Roman-era statue. Turkish Gendarmerie teams received the notification that two alleged smugglers, identified with their initials as A. B. and M. E.
