This is the terrifying moment when a young girl plays on a narrow ledge overlooking a deadly drop.

Footage filmed from a neighbouring building shows the young girl edging sideways and, moments later, even running along the narrow ledge of a residential building in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Northwest China on 21st August.

It also shows how the girl is so high that she is above the tree line as she plays on the ledge.

Staff at the property reportedly paid the family a visit the following day, presumably to admonish the girl and her parents for the youngster’s reckless actions.

The girl was reportedly one of three children at home at the time and she is believed to have climbed out of a window while her parents were not looking.

Netizen ‘Xiaoxiang fluttering 123’ commented: “This girl should be sent to be a special force.”

While ‘Morning Star Lonely Moon’ wrote: “Young Lara Croft.”

‘Not smiling cat smiles happily’ was less impressed, writing: “I hope that when I die, I fall and don’t hit innocent people.”

And ‘trees facing the sun’ implored: “It’s not a matter of courage, but a psychological problem. Parents, please pay attention.”
