This is the great moment Russia’s newest S-500 anti-aircraft missile system performs test-firing tests on a high-speed ballistic target.

The combat fires took place on the Kapustin Yar battlefield in Russia.

According to the Russian Ministry Of Defence, the S-500 anti-aircraft missile system has no analogues in the world and is designed to destroy the full spectrum of existing and potential enemy aerospace weapons of a potential enemy across the range of altitudes and speeds.

The live-fire tests confirmed the specified tactical and technical characteristics and the high reliability of the Russian military air defence equipment.

After the completion of the entire test cycle, the first S-500 system will be delivered to the missile-missile defence association near Moscow.
