Moment Slacker Son Runs From Sofa And Pretends To Do Homework When Front Door Opens

This is the moment a cheeky boy turns off the TV when he hears the front door opening and runs to his desk in the next room to pretend he is doing his homework.

Unbeknown to the cheeky lad, his father had set up a hidden camera to check on his son’s progress.

The incident was filmed in the city of Huangshan in the eastern Chinese province of Anhui on 15th June.

According to the child’s father, Mr Lu, he left home at noon and asked his son to finish his homework. When he came back in the evening, he found that the boy had not finished his chore as promised and checked the hidden camera to find out why.

He soon realised that his son had been slacking on the sofa, watching TV, instead of doing his homework as asked.

In the footage, the boy is seen lying on the sofa as he suddenly startles and turns off the TV after apparently hearing his father at the front door.

He then runs to his desk in the next room and starts writing as his father walks in and goes to check on him.

Mr Lu did not mention if he plans to discipline the boy after catching him out watching TV on camera.
