This is the moment Chinese firefighters disassemble a toilet to rescue an elderly woman who trapped her arm for eight hours while trying to fish out her dentures.

According to the news site Baidu, the OAP, name not reported, dropped her dentures in her toilet and reached in to fish them out.

However, the elderly woman trapped her arm in the squat toilet and was stuck in the bathroom for around eight hours.

The woman was home alone and did not have her mobile phone with her so she reportedly shouted for help while also trying to break the toilet to free herself during her eight-hour ordeal.

A painter and decorator in the building heard the woman’s cries and informed the building security team.

Security staff entered the apartment and tried to free the woman’s trapped arm, but with no success so they turned to the fire brigade for help.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they saw the woman lying horizontally on the bathroom floor with her right arm stuck in the urinal hole, unable to move.

Firefighters said her arm was badly swollen due to being trapped for so long.
