Firefighters Rescue Dog From Roof Of Bergen County Building

Firefighters from the Bogota Fire Department performed an unusual rescue in Bergen County, New Jersey, after rescuing a dog from the roof.

The police were dispatched to assist in the retrieval of the dog from the second-floor roof. In a Facebook post, they stated that they had contacted the fire department for assistance on February 20, 2022.

The dog was determined to get some fresh air, according to the Bogota police department, but unfortunately from a second-floor window, where he knocked the air conditioner unit away. The dog and the firefighters were all eventually able to return home safely.
