This is the moment when a man has a rail close call when a metal grate topples over beside him just seconds after he had walked through it.

The heavy security door – in Jieyang, Guangdong province, southern China – was filmed on CCTV as it fell out of its frame.

In the footage – shared on on 21st July – a man is seen passing through the doorway onto the street.

But as the door closes behind him, it starts to topple forward.

Seconds later, it has fallen to the ground, missing the man by a few inches.

The man, completely oblivious to what had been going on, gets the fright of his life when he hears the door crashing onto the pavement.

The footage was shared by a local man named Mr Weng.

He told local media that the iron door likely fell because it had been rusting away for a long time.

Netizen ‘Trick or Treat’, seeing that the man was unharmed in the incident, commented online: “It’s okay, can I laugh.”
