This is the moment a cute kitten needs to be cut free after getting its head stuck in the hole meant for computer cables on a desk.

The footage was shot in a flat in the prefecture-level city of Linyi in south China’s Shandong province.

According to the owner, the family had only recently acquired a kitten and somewhat they became aware that they could no longer find it.

But they could still hear it, and then the man’s young son discovered the kitten’s head poking out of the hole from the computer table where the cables are supposed to go.

It was meowing pitifully and when they tried to put his head back through the home, they found it was stuck.

The man then slowly and carefully used a small saw to cut into the wood and then use a screwdriver to carefully remove it so that the kitten could be freed.

It was reportedly unharmed by the incident although initially a bit shocked even when being free from its predicament.

But it was soon back to its playful self after being freed.
